Antwerp has been the heart of the diamond world for over 500 years. It’s where generations of master cutters have perfected their skills, where deals still happen face to face, and where some of the world’s most incredible stones pass through before they ever land in a ring box.
Here’s something most people don’t realize: two diamonds can have the exact same GIA report but look completely different in person. One might shine, while the other falls flat. That’s why I go. I want to see the stones myself. I want to compare them side by side, study how they perform in the light, and choose what’s truly beautiful—not just what looks good on paper.
And honestly, that’s one of my favorite parts of this trip. I get to work directly with people who live and breathe diamonds. The cutters, the dealers, the experts who know exactly what makes a stone stand out.
